BRYAN MICHAEL WYSOCKI

Bryan Michael Wysocki is a Maryland-born, Atlanta-based composer and percussionist interested in exploring the blurry relationships between time, memory, and perception. He is a doctoral student in composition at the University of Georgia, where he is a graduate assistant in interdisciplinary arts research with the Ideas for Creative Exploration. Bryan’s music for chamber ensembles, large ensembles, and soloists have been performed across the country and in Europe. Most recently, he has been researching interactive sound and light installations.

Bryan is an active freelance percussionist specializing in contemporary performance practice, and he also performs with an Atlanta-based saxophone and percussion duo, Duoctane.

As part of the festival’s theme, Bryan is paying tribute to where he came from, both musically and otherwise.
